Conversely, our ability to relax and curtail the impact of many imagined predators – as well as understand ourselves and our relationships with others, are not given but cultivated – hence the explosion of Mindfulness-based techniques and therapies in this day and age.
PNT is a simple yet very effective approach to managing the conversation in our head and develop a practice which is helpful to counter stressors and, with time, even affect the way we perceive our experiences – in short, a real tool to develop contentment as a robust baseline for our daily walkabout.
